A temporary full time opportunity until 27/02/2027 has become available for an experienced  Administration Officer  to join our Regional Assets team based in Townsville. 

 

In this key role, you will provide high-level administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the team. You will play a vital part in facilitating the team's success through your organizational expertise and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide a broad range of administrative support services, including document preparation, data entry, presentation formatting, spreadsheet creation, and calendar/diary management. 

  • Organize and coordinate meetings, conferences, and events including venue bookings, attendee arrangements, agenda preparation, minute-taking, and travel/accommodation coordination. 

  • Manage divisional functions such as SAP data entry for payroll and finance, invoice processing, and petty cash handling. 

  • Liaise effectively with internal staff, management, suppliers, and external customers to foster a collaborative and positive work environment. 

 

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualities: 

  • Strong experience in delivering administrative support services, particularly in payroll, purchasing, and financial systems. 

  • Well-developed organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SAP or similar enterprise systems. 

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with a professional and customer-focused approach. 

  • Must hold a valid current driver's licence.
