Purpose that Counts.

There is currently a permanent full-time position based in Brisbane for a Project Manager to join the team. This role provides client-side leadership and assurance across the delivery of complex projects, acting as a trusted representative to ensure client objectives are clearly defined and achieved.

Working across diverse stakeholders and delivery partners, the role supports informed decision making through strong governance, planning, and oversight, while maintaining clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. It is suited to someone who thrives in representing client interests, navigating complexity, and delivering confidence in outcomes. 

 

Key duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the delivery of complex projects by leading a project team to meet safety, time, cost and quality requirements.
  • Develop and oversee funding submissions, project plans, schedules, cost plans and cash flows.
  • Determine resource needs and manage contractual and procurement strategies.
  • Establish effective project governance, including risk management and progress reporting.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including community groups, unions, government agencies and governance bodies, while administering contracts as required.

To be considered for this position you will need:

  • Demonstrated high-level skill in project management within a multi-disciplinary project environment.
  • Proven experience developing and managing budgets for complex, multi‑disciplinary projects.
  • Strong capability in planning, organising, concept development, problem solving and analytical thinking.
  • Effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with sound negotiation ability.
  • Proficient in computer applications including MS Office, spreadsheets and project scheduling software, with flexibility to travel locally and work outside standard hours when required.
