- Base salary between $81,000 - $101,000 + penalties + 12.75% super (dependent on qualifications & experience)
- 9-day fortnight (Monday-Friday, Monday-Thursday)
- Travel within roster on paid work time including expenses & accommodation

At Queensland Rail, your career growth really matters. An internal move has opened up an opportunity for an experienced Telecommunications Technician to join our Regional Assets team on a permanent full-time basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications and electronic equipment to ensure their safe and efficient operation.
Key duties include, but are not limited to:
- Install, maintain and repair telecommunication and electronic equipment
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with technical and operational specifications
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with Workplace Health and Safety requirements
- Maintain records and associated documentation
- Report on actual work performed against the scheduled maintenance program

People who Count.
This role would be best suited to those with proven experience with radio & transmission systems and remote monitoring equipment. A considerable amount of work is conducted out in the field, so you must be able to travel away and work in a variety of locations across regional Queensland.
- Sound skill in the installation, maintenance and fault rectification of telecommunications equipment and systems
- Unrestricted Driver’s License
- Electronics Trade Certificate (similar qualifications in electronics considered)
- Must have the flexibility to work some overtime and weekends when required
