Your Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for two experienced and motivated Senior Marketing Advisors to join our dynamic Brand and Marketing team. These are full-time opportunities, with one permanent position and one fixed-term contract role available until 6 August 2027.
As a Senior Marketing Advisor, you will provide expert marketing advice and deliver strategic marketing initiatives that strengthen Queensland Rail's brand, support business priorities and drive measurable outcomes.
You will lead the development and delivery of integrated marketing, communications and safety campaigns that strengthen brand awareness, influence customer and community behaviour, support organisational priorities, and drive patronage and revenue growth.
Using customer insights and strategic thinking, you'll develop compelling campaign strategies, content and messaging across multiple channels. You'll also help promote Queensland Rail’s travel and tourism products, enhance customer engagement, and identify opportunities to create greater impact through marketing and communications.

Purpose That Counts – What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the development and delivery of integrated marketing, communications and behaviour change campaigns that drive engagement, awareness and business outcomes.
- Create and coordinate high-quality marketing and communication content across multiple channels, including digital, web, publications and campaign materials.
- Provide expert marketing and communications advice, translating complex business and safety priorities into clear, audience-focused messaging.
- Support the development and implementation of corporate marketing strategies and plans, informed by market research, customer insights and performance data.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships while ensuring brand alignment, managing campaign performance and budgets, and contributing to a collaborative team culture.

What we’re looking for
- Demonstrated experience delivering integrated marketing, communications and behaviour change campaigns that achieve measurable outcomes in complex organisations.
- Proven experience using email marketing platforms and design software, including Vision6 and Adobe InDesign desirable.
- Strong expertise in contemporary marketing practices, including campaign management, advertising, media, digital marketing, content creation and email marketing platforms.
- Excellent communication, copywriting and storytelling skills, with experience developing engaging content across multiple channels.
- Proven project management, organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, budgets and deadlines.
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to turn business objectives and customer insights into effective marketing initiatives and continuous improvement opportunities.
