About the role – Purpose that counts
Our SEQ Facilities has an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Officer - Electrical to join the team in our Corinda depot on Brisbane’s southside on a fulltime permanent basis.
Day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include
- Contractor and Stakeholder engagement.
- Collaborating with Electrical Work Coordinator, Electrical Asset Renewal Officers, and Manager Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance in relation to Electrical Compliance.
- Liaising with the Asset Management Team and LV Engineering to ensure new assets being accepted are compliant.
- Working with the Asset Management Team to remove inefficiencies within EAMS maintenance plans.
- Partaking in reviewing and/or creating electrical specific documents as a subject matter expert (SME) – Including but not limited to: Instructions, Policies, Procedures, SWMS and SWAs.
- Reviewing compliance documents and actioning corrective workorders.
- Provide technical support from an electrical compliance point of view to electrical trade staff.

- Salary starts at $114,987 plus up to 12.75% superannuation and allowances. (overtime and supervisor on call roster available)

About you
- Hold a valid Qld Driver's license
- Be in possession of an Electrical Mechanical license
- Substantial knowledge of maintenance practices and relevant legislation, codes, standards,
- Sound skill in undertaking compliance and assurance activities including audits and inspections
- Good problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills
