We are seeking an experienced Senior Employee Relations Adviser to join our Brisbane team on a permanent full time basis.

 

This role will involve supporting the negotiation of Enterprise Agreements and managing a wide range of employee relations matters. The ideal candidate will provide expert advice, coaching, and support on policy, legislative requirements, and complex workplace issues.

 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Legislative and Policy Guidance: Offer expert advice to management on the effective application of relevant legislation, policies, and standard. Support the resolution of workplace issues and collaborate with managers to drive workplace reform.
  • Consultation and Negotiation: Engage with employees and unions to discuss and negotiate the application of legislation, policies, and standards. Work to resolve workplace issues and achieve the best outcomes for Queensland Rail.
  • Workplace Reform and HR Strategy Implementation: Assist in the implementation of workplace reform initiatives and HR strategies, ensuring they align with organisational goals.
  • Complex Case Management: Lead or manage complex workplace investigations and mediations to address and resolve issues effectively.

  • Strong experience in relevant workplace legislation and enterprise agreements
  • Previous experience in HR related investigations
  • Ability to manage multiple complex cases simultaneously
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Proactive approach with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and apart of a high preforming team
